Build 8:
Final connections

The final connections are so obvious, that you may be offended that I mention them at all, after all you have learned and accomplished so far.



However, it is easy to overlook the obvious.

Plugging in your keyboard, mouse and monitor will be a breeze now that you have built your own computer. Here is one more little pointer.

When plugging in the keyboard, remember that it always goes into the PS2 port nearest the outside of the case.


Then, of course, the mouse will plug into the next available PS2 port.











And last but not least, if you don’t plug in the monitor you won’t see anything.










After these final connections, you should be up and running: Adding new hardware would be as easy as to follow the instructions for the specific hardware.
